Crypto Prices Today April 12: Bitcoin At $71K, ETH Dips Below $3600 As SOL & ADA Recover

The top crypto prices registered a mixed action as the Bitcoin (BTC) price soared above to the $71,000 level. In contrast, the Ethereum price dipped below the $3,600 mark. Meanwhile, other top altcoins, such as Cardano (ADA), and Solana (SOL) gained while XRP witnessed a significant plunge.

Major Crypto Prices Today

The Bitcoin price was up by 0.96% reaching $71,185.07 at the time of writing on Friday, April 12. On the other hand, it’s trading volume dropped 24.14% to $30.13 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the crypto held a market capitalization of $1.40 trillion.

Looking at altcoins, the Ethereum price plummeted 0.34% to $3,550.61 at press time with a market valuation of $426.31 billion. Whilst, ETH saw its trading volume drop by 16.73%, reaching $13.71 billion. Meanwhile, the Binance Coin (BNB) price gained 0.56%, reaching $615.62. On the contrary, its 24-hour trade plunged 30.74% to $1.24 billion.

The Solana price continued trading below the $180 mark today. The Solana price was up by 0.47%, settling at $174.56. In contrast, SOL witnessed a 17.51%% decline in trade volume to $2.65 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the XRP price sustained the $0.61 level despite a decline. The XRP price recorded a drop of 0.66%, reaching $0.6135. On the other hand, XRP’s trading volume plummeted 76.67% to $1.18 billion.

Meanwhile, the Cardano price was up by 0.65% to $0.5899 today. Whilst, ADA recorded a 28.21% dip in its 24-hour trading volume, settling at $331.07 million. As the top crypto prices rebounded, the popular meme coins followed. The Dogecoin price was up by 1.46% to $0.1996 while its rival, Shiba Inu price gained 0.10% and traded at $0.00002773.

The Pepe Coin (PEPE) crypto, a trending Solana meme coin, rebounded significantly today. At press time, the Pepe Coin price was up by 5.77% to $0.000007461 with a market valuation of $3.13 billion. In addition, the 24-hour trade volume for PEPE surged by 42.60% to $743.64 million.

Ondo Soars Over 8%

Ondo (ONDO), an Ethereum ecosystem crypto, recorded a surge of over 8% and ranked as one of the top crypto gainers today. The Indo price was up by 8.15% to $0.8372 at the time of reporting. Moreover, its trade volume spiked by a 41.79% a and stood at $226.33 million. Furthermore, the Ondo crypto recorded a high of $0.8541 amid the rally today.
